LIGHTS OUT

LIGHTS OUT is an invitation to everyone in the UK to turn their lights off on 4 August from 10pm until 11pm, leaving on a single light or candle for this shared moment of reflection. Artist Jeremy Deller has devised four short films to be released at midnight each day in the run up to 4 August.

I collaborated with Jeremy on the second film in the series, a straightforward and moving account of the end of life from the point of view of a cardiologist and an ECG machine.
